In this regard, the Acting Chief Minister of Punjab also convened a meeting of the officials of the school education department.

Various vacation proposals will be studied. The first plan is to extend the vacation of primary school students until January 15, and the second plan is to extend the vacation of the middle class. Similarly, there is a proposal to make school hours extend from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., but this is completely unrealistic since school hours are already from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Similarly, there are proposals to increase vacations up to intermediate classes and keep schools open for exam preparation in classes 9 and 10. The Punjab caretaker government had earlier imposed winter vacations for middle grades. educational institutions from December 18 to January 1, but taking into account the unusually deadly cold, it extended the vacation until January 9, and now do not forget that it is possible that it will increase again.

The Ministry of Higher Education also issued a notice to extend the vacation from January 9 to January 14 due to the severity of the cold weather. Meanwhile, the meteorological department said the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtankhwa and Upper Sindh would remain shrouded in fog throughout this week, the news agency said. On Saturday, it will be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while the northern regions and North Balochistan will remain very cold.
